Aside from its functionality it serves as a decorative piece that can add beauty and depth for the space. It can also make an illusion of space for a smaller bathroom. In improving the look of your bathroom, it is important that you have to install a bathroom mirror that will compliment the look of your bathroom. And you can do it by picking out the right mirror frame that will blend well with your bathroom accessories.
Here are simple tips on how you can frame a mirror for your bathroom.
If the mirror is seized up by a clear mirror clips, you have to change the clips that can go at the back of the mirror. You can ask the staff of the store to help you with the right mounting of the clip so that the molding can stay with the mirror without any slit.
Once the mirror is mounted flat with the wall, you have to measure the four sides and add 1/8″. You have to remember the measurement.
Then you have to go to any home depot stores and select for the decorative molding that will fit your bathroom mirror. You can choose plain molding and have it paint to match your bathroom furniture. Then you ask the staff of the store to cut the molding according to the measurement of the side.
If you bought the plain molding, you have to pain it first before installing it. You have to make sure that the paint is dry before you install it. If the mirror is touching the top of the vanity, use a wood glue to attach the molding properly. You have to use finish nail on the end in order to get attached with the wall. Then install the side moldings. Push the mitered ends together and push the molding to the mirror. Keep in mind not to overlap the sides on the top of the mirror. Then use the finish nails to attach the moldings to the wall.
But if you prefer to use foam moldings, you can do the same steps, but use a double-sided tapes to attach the moldings to the bathroom mirror at the bottom and the wall on the sides and top.
After installing the four sides of the molding of the bathroom mirrors, check if there are gaps. When you see that there are gaps you have to fill it with wood putty and touch it with paint. And you are done with your framed bathroom mirror.

The mirror is too big to weigh but it is huge and heavy. On the back there are d-hooks already placed– three in a row on all four wood sides. The hooks are diagonally placed so that when I turn it to hang it width-wise on the left they are closer to the bottom of the beam and on the right they are closer to the top of the beam; respectively, on the top beam they are to the left and the bottom to the right. How am I supposed to use them? Do I use wire? Do I move them for hanging?

I’m really serious with this question. The mirror in the bathroom is really big.
Whenever I see the mirror, I just start talking to myself. It became a habit that I do all of the time. I’m scared one day if I start doing that in public bathroom mirror, everyone will think I’m crazy.
The reason why I like doing that is, it releases my stress. My mom always asks why I take so long in the bathroom.
I just need tips to avoid looking into the mirror. Help?
When I’m ready and all dressed up, I can look in the mirror for quick second and that’s it.

I have a mirror that I know I have had for at least 40 years. It is a standing mirror with gold colored carved roses around the frame with a large rose and leaves projected out over the mirror.

Well we have been dating 3 months now (getting very serious/committed) and things are going great. I went to put my contact case in her bathroom mirror/cabinet for the 3rd time maybe and noticed 1 unopened condom on one of the shelves on the bottom that I dont remember seeing before. Its a big cabinet so I probably missed it before. She has cats is why. We are 27 years old and know she has dated before me, which I am fine with that. My first reaction is to mention it when I talk to her next. But should I do one of the following?
1) Mention I saw it the other day, just wondering where it came from or why its there. Really just want to hear what her answer may be.
2) Do I ignore it being there and see if it ever goes away? Not saying she will ever cheat on me, ever, but as long as its there could be reasurance that she hasnt used it. Unless she just throws it away.
Its also not the kind we have been using.

My friends growing up were Vietnamese. They had these small wooden framed mirrors in the shape of an octagon (I think) hung above every doorway into their home. When I asked, they said it was a mirror to reflect bad spirits away from the home. What are these called? Is that part of a particular religion? Or just a cultural thing? Is that a correct statement of what they are for? Where can I buy one?
